Life After 21 Shouldn't Mean Life Without Support
Introducing the Zebulon Clinic — Colorado's dedicated ABA therapy center for adults with profound autism. One-on-one care, built around dignity, skill-building, and the things that make a life feel like a life. Opening May 4, 2026 and accepting new clients.
The Moment Services End
For families of adults with profound autism, turning 21 often comes with a quiet, painful question: What now?
School supports end. Structured days disappear. Progress built over two decades can stall — or slip. And the options that do exist are often a waitlist, a drive, or a compromise away from what your loved one actually needs.
The Zebulon Clinic was built for this exact moment.
Located in Colorado Springs at 1820 Zebulon Dr., our brand-new adult-only ABA therapy center delivers one-on-one, clinically rigorous, and deeply humane care for adults 21 and over with profound autism. No children. No shared space. Just purpose-built programming for adults who deserve to keep growing, and families who deserve a real answer.
Care That Addresses the Whole Day
Our one-on-one ABA therapy is designed around four interconnected goals that shape how an adult experiences their day — and their life:
Severe Behavior Reduction Our BCBAs specialize in comprehensive, compassionate treatment of severe challenging behaviors, using individualized assessment and evidence-based intervention to reduce what's painful and expand what's possible.
Functional Communication Whether through AAC, signs, or vocal speech, we meet each adult where they are — and build the ability to be understood, make choices, and self-advocate.
Independence with Daily Living Skills: Cooking a meal. Doing laundry. Managing hygiene. Our on-site kitchen and laundry facility allow learners to practice these skills in the real environments where they matter.
Meaningful Leisure Skills, because a full life isn't just tasks. We teach gardening, music, games, and community activities that fill time with purpose rather than boredom or behavior.
Assent-Based, Always
At CLBG, ABA doesn't mean compliance. It means collaboration.
Our programming is assent-based, meaning we actively seek and respect each adult's ongoing agreement to participate — reading behavior, responding to cues, and adjusting our approach in real time. This is modern, ethical ABA: therapy that moves with the learner, not at them.
Every session is supervised by full-time, on-site BCBAs who know your loved one's name, story, and goals — not rotating staff managing a caseload from afar.
Built for Adults, Built for Real Life
The Zebulon Clinic isn't a repurposed pediatric space. It was designed from the ground up for adult learners, with:
On-site kitchen for cooking and meal-prep skill-building
On-site laundry for independent living practice
Outdoor space with garden opportunities for sensory breaks, horticulture therapy, and leisure
Weekly community outings to parks, stores, restaurants, and local landmarks — generalizing skills into the real world
Quiet, low-stimulation clinical areas for focused skill acquisition and behavior support
